Outstanding representatives of Regent High School
Our A Level geography students from Year 12 and 13 spent three days in Arnside, the Lake District. On the trip they studied coastal processes and defenses at Morecambe Bay, walked up to Easedale Tarn to study glacial features and processes and collected data along Holme Beck to show how rivers change as they move downstream.
A big thank you to Virgin Trains and Breaks 4 Kids who contributed to the cost of the trip. Students found the break stimulating and highly informative.
After returning, the school received a lovely email from our hosts about how well our students conducted themselves, “They worked hard, were attentive and polite. Their friendly manner and respect was a delight to witness and a local resident told us how he wished all young people could be like your students. A great credit to themselves and to your school and staff - you would have been proud of them.”
