New beginnings as
After consulting closely with students and staff, we are delighted to announce that, as of September 2012, South Camden Community School will officially be renamed ‘Regent High School,’ with a smart new uniform and logo to mark the exciting change.
Regent High School was selected by both staff and students as the preferred new name for the school; offering a sense of prestige and tradition, as well as having obvious geographical connections linked to our enviable location in the heart of London.
The new logo is within a shield shape that is classic yet simple and also represents the school specialism of performing arts; it was important that the logo linked both the traditional and the modern in order to convey the ethos of our school. The colours in the logo represent the community houses within our vertical tutoring system whilst the stripes represent key areas of the curriculum and the school’s multiculturalism.
These developments are further enhanced by our new facilities, with students moving into our impressive new buildings from September 2012 which will support and facilitate their learning and achievement.
We invite staff, students and their parents to embrace these changes as we look forward to a promising future as Regent High School.
