New Zealand visitors support GCSE scientists
Our Year 11 and Year 13 students welcomed two special guests from New Zealand who supported them in their GCSE and A Level Science lessons. The two undergraduates, Bryony and Alex, are studying degrees in Genetics and Medicine at the oldest university in New Zealand, the University of Otago, located in the South Island. The undergraduates were keen to share their expertise, inspiring many of our students with their enthusiasm and knowledge and ensuring the concepts were understood. Following the lessons, Bryony and Alex told us how impressed they were with our students’ knowledge and at how engaged our students were in the activities and discussion.
